- Carrier Vetting & Compliance: We use AI-driven tools to continuously monitor carrier safety ratings, insurance validity, and operating authority. This automated system helps ensure that only carriers meeting our high safety and legal standards are permitted to handle your freight.

2. Data Retention Policy
We retain your personal and business information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. Our retention periods include:
- Shipment Records: We maintain transportation and shipment records for a period of three (3) years to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Financial Records: Transactional and billing data are retained for seven (7) years for tax and audit purposes.
- Account Information: Active account data is kept for the duration of your partnership with NexMile Logistics. If an account is deactivated, we will delete or anonymize your data within 12 months, unless legal obligations require otherwise.
- Marketing Data: Information collected for marketing purposes is retained until you opt out or request deletion.
