Three Ways to Join
Standard Entry
For brokers with some experience or those transitioning from another industry. Start at Apprentice 1 (50%) and progress through all five tiers based on performance. Full training and mentorship provided.
Academy Graduate
Complete the NexMile Academy training program and enter the agent network at Journeyman 1 (60%) bypassing the two Apprentice tiers. The Academy covers freight operations, sales methodology, technology platform, and compliance.
Verified Experience Track
For experienced brokers with a proven book of business. Accelerated 60 day evaluation period. Start at Apprentice 1 but advance faster through demonstrated performance. Non compete restrictions apply.

New to freight brokerage? Our Academy program takes you from zero experience to a fully trained agent ready to book loads and build customer relationships. The curriculum covers freight operations, sales methodology, technology platform training, compliance, and real world load execution.
Academy graduates enter the agent network at Journeyman 1 (60% commission) — skipping the two Apprentice tiers entirely.
The Academy is a separate business entity from NexMile Logistics. Tuition is independent and is never deducted from agent commissions.
